This November we were delighted to attend the lecture and book launch of “Bonte Grijzen – de Kleuren van Wim van Hooff en de Bossche School. ” The event took place at the Klooster van Doornburgh (1964) designed by Jan de Jong - who had been part of the Bossche School.
When we renovated the Henricus School (1960, renovation2018)– designed by Evers and Sarlemijn, who had also been part of the Bossche School, we researched and used the van Hooff colour system as much as we could.
At that time we had contact with Herman van Hooff, his son (shown in the photograph) who was just beginning to research this wonderful book. Herman kindly signed our edition after the launch lecture.
