Down is the new Up!

Love the Inner City but need more space?  Can’t build up or out? Then build down! This is the second time we have been involved in building a complex new layer under inner city houses in Helmersstraat. Here again we combine foundation renewal with the provision of an entirely new floor under ground level in central Amsterdam. The extension of the new lower floors into the gardens creates a variety of double height courtyards with new connections to the garden Natural light flows into the lower levels and the renovation of the upper levels of the dwellings allows each house to begin a unique new life.
