A study for a combination of restaurants, leisure facilities and housing was made for a strategic corner site in Waalwijk. The ground floor was to be reorganised to provide greater contact with the street with open facades and through a change in programme to various restaurants and shops.

On the floors above the street, two levels of apartments are provided to which access was gained via a decked roof. By re orientating the apartments in layers each apartment has its own front door accessed from a private part of the deck with a view over the surrounding streets.
