The results of our research project 1+1=3 funded by the Stimuleringsfonds voor Architectuur (Netherlands Architecture Fund), was presented before an invited audience of professionals in the field.

With this presentation, we chose to set our design lead research within the context of current debate around the issue of mixed funding of school buildings in Holland and England.

During the afternoon, which was moderated by Ingrid de Moel of De Wijkplaats, different aspects of the debate were tabled by Bill Learmonth from the London Diocesan Board of Schools, Mireille Uhlenbusch from Hevo and John Vernaus RO groep. We would like to thank everyone who came and helped contribute to this ongoing debate.
